Abstract

In this paper, we describe the database project ZweiDat 2.0, dealing with linguistic cases of doubt in the German language. The online interface to this database provides a structured access to the metalinguistic discussion of cases of doubt in German, dating back to the 19th and early 20th century when the standardization of German was completed. The data can be used for multiple diachronic research questions. In this regard, the paper provides simple examples of application to illustrate the opportunities and limitations of the database
