Abstract

This paper discusses the question if punctuation in three constructions in German language could be classified as linguistic cases of doubt following KLEIN (2003). For this purpose the schema of analysis developed by KLEIN (2006) is adapted and expanded. An empirical research as pilot study with thinking-aloud-protocols completes the discussion, the results showing linguistic indicators of doubts.
